RX-0 Unicorn Destroy mode

Hi there. It's been quite a long time since i posted here. Quite taking things down in order. Finally have achieved some of those Certificates im looking forward to at work.

Reviewing stuff is time consuming, hence, my blog here needs to take a backseat for a while.

While i'm closing in for the 2nd Certification, i believe there's plenty of time to catch up and post a wee bit with my work-in-progress, and those i have snapbuilt/completed.

As i have mentioned back before, i need to re-order my blog layout so that it will be nice, simple and fun to read on. Even though i have started some face lift already, how do you find it guys?

As i'm excited to get back on the track, hopefully, you guys can stay around and visit me from time to time.

Howdy, its been quite a while since my last post. I'd been busy lately due to work et al. I also have my youngest daughter last October 30.

Anyway, since 2013 is here, i believe its time for some blog-face lift-up. At the same time, getting ready for the Rozen Zulu's arrival next week.

 Previously, i owned a new LED TV set so i have to move all my MG's in this old cab..

Old Cabinet.. getting too tight for my kits.. a new one arrives, still in the box on the left

So when i got home, i hurriedly assembled the new cabinet, and whoah, i have to redo the assembly, i left the bottom doors and glass panes.. it should be assembled from bottom-to-top including the wooden door and glass panes. Yeah, its one pain-in-the-ass as i have to struggle to take them apart again and redo that thing.

Now, its ready to take home new gunpla kits, as it piles up on the right side

Finally, kits in place.. now its time to complete all my unbuilt kits and start the love.. ^^

Zeydra and RX-78, having a good chat..

From Ozine 2012, i got this RX-78 G30th edition at P650 only... that's quite a bargain. Along with the Zeydra, i also have G-Exes and G-Bouncer (to commemorate the death of Woolf Enneacle, though I’m still missing the Genoace Custom yet) and Dorado form AGE-2 series). Btw, that HG RX-78 G30th is highly detailed that it rivals the MG OYW counterpart. ^^

My loots last Ozine 2012, all AGE kits came from GTO Greenhills, RX-78 is from GTO inside the Ozine place at SM Hall.

Yes.. an addition to mg HGUC Unicorn MS + Zeydra, both from GTO Greenhills, Mr Surfacer 1200 from STC.. and the much anticipated return of Diablo III (i dont want to miss the release date).. ^^

Finally got the Sinanju Action Base from BestToys.. Action Base mission completed..

I decided to separate the review, but it may take some time to re-design my blog page. And i will also add a monthly recap of the activity i have during the month. Hoping it would be easier to manage them altogether (wips/completed wips/hauls&loots/reviews/unboxing, etc)..

So many things to do..

Its been 2/12 months already since my last blog update, yup, quite busy after the New Year's revelry for 2012. But nevertheless, quite a shaky ride with my gunpla addiction.

First stuff, HG Trans-am Susanowo. I really find this kit so cool, makes me feel the power that emanates during its trans-am form. The marbling effect on the color theme itself is quite alluring.

Too cool to ignore so i grab one for keeps..

 With the overwhelming appreciation of my first trans-am kit (Susanowo), i bend to target all trans-am unit and collect them. As i visit GTO Greenhills, i haven't found one so i opt to take home the Geara Zulu Guards type. I love how cool the MS looks.

 After quite a few weeks, the anticipated Full Armor Unicorn has finally arrived.

 First off, i assembled the Jaber base for size comparison against the RFA's TA weapon.

Quite big and rock solid - UFA's Jaber base

 And then followed suit by the UFA's backpack, test fitted on my Unicorn OVA.

Just one pair of gattling gun takes at least a day or two for me to complete.. imagine assembling 2 more pairs (total of 3 pairs for UFA)..

 I also found this guy addicted to gunpla, so i decided to keep one for myself..

Sgt Keroro seriously trying to get the job done..

 Been trying to keep at pace with the UFA wip, now here's the partially completed backpack using the Unicorn OVA's shield.

Jaber, Gattling guns, 2 Bazookas and the backpack for UFA, quite time consuming..

 And as advertised, Keroro's head can be used to a variety of gunpla model,  this kit includes a connector to fit on these scales (HG/MG/SD/RG)

 The glorified UFA is quite bulky, it is also quite repetitive on the build task (6 gattling guns / 3 shields / 2 bazookas), i thought it would never end..

Took me weeks just to finsh the weapons et al

 Finally, after a series of multiple, repetitive task..

 Did i miss saying that i grab another HG Unicorn (with headbase - from GTO Greenhills) and another trans-am kit from Shuffle.

 One trick for the chrome finish is to use the Magic powder as recommended by fellow GM - Kuya Doyzilla. Thanks Mykel for accomodating your time to fetch this one at GTO. ^^

 Just found out (accidentally) that the excess powder on the cotton bud can still be use for weathering effect.

 My Geara Zulu's wip is in parallel with my elder brother's wip for his Macross 1/72 kit.

Quite fun on my first try - will be looking forward for more.. ^^
